Sci-fi fantasy tactical RPG
Dimensionals is a premium role-playing game from developer Mino Games. It is a sci-fi-themed RPG featuring tactical turn-based combat and roguelike elements. It also boasts a grand adventure story about a ragtag team of heroes that is told through charming comic book-style cutscenes with voiced character dialogue.
Much like Darkest Dungeon II or Baldur's Gate 3, Dimensionals boasts a wide cast of characters to let players build their team of heroes that complement each other's strengths and abilities. Newcomers can give the demo a try to see what the game will be like in the full version.
Across the multiverse
Dimensionals is an epic multidimensional adventure of a ragtag team of heroes out to stop the tyrannical king of specters called Ragnarath who's launching a massive attack on the multiverse. You are Earth's youngest Dimensional officer recruit stranded on the fleet's mothership and now humanity's last hope. Create a team of three, jump into the Rift, and go save worlds across multiple dimensions from being destroyed.
Choose from over 20 heroes to recruit to your team, each having unique skills and abilities you can use in battles. Level them, add skill points, and unlock legendary skills for tough enemies. Better yet, you can assign skills to any hero to create interesting results and synergies. You can also collect rare artifacts scattered through the Rift that provide powerful bonuses or curses if you're unlucky.
Throughout your journey, you get to meet and interact with members of the Rogue Rifters, a mysterious group that lives within the Rift and can help you for the right price. Now, if you like the demo and want more, you will have to wait for a while longer since the game is not out yet, and there is no specific release date when it will.
Charming multidimensional adventure
To sum up, Dimensionals is a thrilling adventure through worlds and dimensions with a funny cast of characters, tactical and diverse combat, and charming comic book-style storytelling. The ability to assign any skill to any hero will make for some interesting results and combinations. Suffice it to say, this is worth checking out if you're a fan of the genre.
